Hugo was killed when his car went out of control on a gravel road four miles north and three-fourths of a mile west of Sutton. He had been a captain in a wolf hunt that forenoon, and had brought a friend to town over the noon hour. He was on his way out to the blue rock shoot, being held in connection with the hunt, when the accident occurred. After investigating the accident, the doctor declared that Hugo must have suffered an apoplexy of the heart, and then the car ran into the ditch.
