Calvin, Arlis and Martin were killed when their car was in a collision with a semi-trailer truck at an intersection near Sutton, Nebraska. The collision occurred shortly after 2:00 p.m. at an intersection on a county road about three miles east of Sutton and two miles south of Route 6. The car driven by Calvin was westbound when it was in collision with the southbound semi, driven by Wesley Manka of Shickley. The road Manka was on was controlled by a yield sign.
