    Myrtle P. Feldner, 87, Donnybrook, ND, died Wednesday, August 8, 2007 in the Kenmare hospital.
    Myrtle Meland was born July 21, 1920 on the family farm near Carpio, ND, the daughter of Ole and Anna (Watne) Meland. She was raised in Carpio and graduated from Carpio High School.
    Myrtle married Fred Feldner on August 31, 1940, in Glasgow, MT. Following their marriage they lived a short time in Carpio before moving to Donnybrook, where they made their home. Myrtle was a cook at the Donnybrook school for a number of years and later worked as a clerk at the Donnybrook Food Market, until it closed. Fred passed away in January of 1976. Myrtle continued to live in Donnybrook and in 2002 she moved to the farm to live with her daughter, Beverly.
    Myrtle was a hard working lady, who did chores on the farm up until a few months ago. She was a strong supporter of her children and later her grandchildren in all of their sporting events. Myrtle was awarded the "Super Fan Award" by the Kenmare Honkers, following many years of support to the Donnybrook Hi-Liners and later the Kenmare Honkers. She was a very active member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Donnybrook and served as the Donnybrook City Auditor for numerous years. She was a member of the Donnybrook United Methodist Church. Myrtle was an awesome seamstress and a wonderful mother and grandmother who will be missed. She was also known as "Grandma Myrt" by many.
    Those who shared in her life, Children, Beverly Miller, Donnybrook, ND, Roger (Joleen) Feldner, Bottineau, ND, and Charlene (Bruce) Ough, Columbus, OH; 11 grandchildren, Jamie Miller, Lisa (Ken) Keysor, Brenda Miller, Brent (Cheryl) Miller, Wade (Bobbi) Miller, Shane (Tonya) Miller, Brad (Laura) Feldner, Shawn Feldner, Lance (Cathie) Ough, Stuart (Christine) Ough and Matthew (Jory) Ough; 15 great-grandchildren, Kayla, Kelsey, Kendra and Kortni Miller, Kacy, Kody and Konnor Keysor, Taylor and Macey Miller, Madelyn and Gavin Miller, Alexandra and Dylan Feldner, Dashua Ough and Cailum Ough; sister, Phoebe Leslie, San Jose, CA; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins survive.
    Myrtle was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Feldner; son, Robert Feldner; son-in-law, John Miller; her parents and five brothers.
    Funeral: Saturday, August 11, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. at United Methodist Church, Donnybrook, ND.
    Visitation: Friday, August 10, 2007, from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Kenmare, ND.
    Burial: Donnybrook Cemetery, Donnybrook, ND.
    In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the Donnybrook Community Center, P.O. Box 34, Donnybrook, ND, 58734.
