Steven R. Lehr, age 62, passed away at his home in Wilton, CA, after a lengthy illness. Steve was born in Sacramento on August 9, 1951. He graduated from Sacramento High School in 1969 and attended Sacramento eCity College. Steve served honorably in the U.S. Army from 1970 until 1972.
Steve was co-owner of Lehr Auto Electric, Inc. for many years and later was owner of SL Electronics and Lehr's Lazy L Ranch in Wilton.
Through the years Steve was an experienced snow skier, water skier, diver and private pilot. He was an avid motorcyclist and was a member of the Sons of California Motorcycle Club. He enjoyed building custom motorcycles.
Steve is survived by his wife of 33 years Debra Lehr, his brother Kenneth Lehr and many extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, Irven and Nadine Lehr.
A Memorial Service will be held May 19th at 12:00 pm at the Elk Grove Park Pavilion, 9950 Elk Grove-Florin Road, Elk Grove, CA.
In lieu of remembrances, donations may be made in Steve's name to the Sacramento SPCA or The Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research .
