She was born on July 27, 1940 in Guadalupita, New Mexico to Marcelino Torres and Adelia Pacheco-Torres. She was united in marriage on September 21, 1976 in Golden, Colorado to Lawrence Reichert. She enjoyed flower gardening, crocheting, jigsaw puzzles, she was creative with crafts, she was very giving and loved her pugs, (pets) and humming birds. She was also a Head Start Grandma. She is preceded in death by her parents: Marcelino and Adelia Torres; sisters: Cesarita Romero and Helen Romero; brothers: Policarpio Torres , brothers-in-law: Ralph Romero and James Romero. She is survived by her husband: Lawrence Reichert of the family home in Gaudalupita, NM; daughters: Christine Contreras of Albuquerque, NM; Debbie Chavez and husband Walter of Fort Garland, CO, Joan Manguso of Albuquerque, NM, and Fran Chavez of Bernal, NM: son: John Chavez and companion Anna of Las Vegas, NM: step-daughters: Kelly Sanchez and husband Robert of Castle Rock, CO and Jacque Wolfe and husband Michael of Sherwood, AR; sisters: Bertha Vialpando and husband Raymond of Denver, CO; Pauline Romero of Denver, CO, and Teri Pacheco and husband Mike of Costilla, NM; brothers: Paul Torres and wife Bertha and Ernest Torres and wife Marcella all of Guadalupita, NM; brother-in-law: Manuel Romero of Guadalupita, NM; sister-in-law: Loren Torres of Guadalupita, NM; 15 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; numerous: nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Interment will be held at the Torres Cemetery Plot in Guadalupita, NM with the following serving as casket bearers: John B. Garcia, Michael Lujan, Jonathan Manguso, Martin Romero, Joseph Sanchez, and Benji Torres. Serving as honorary bearer will be Martin Romero, Jr.
